The Thousand Hands of Guan Yin: Skull Sceptre is made of 18k yellow gold and diamonds and can be used as either a necklace or a brooch. The Skull Sceptre has t absolute power and control and can order any spirts, devils or forces of evil to obey it. Traditionally, sceptres were staffs or wands that were held by a ruling monarch to show their royal and authoritative status. They were also a symbol to connect the ruler to the citizens, entrusting the ruler to protect and safeguard the people. The eye on the hand represents the “awakening” experience of the Buddhist practice of unlocking your consciousness and ‘becoming awake.’ Finally, the yellow gold gives the whole design a more traditional Buddhist feel along with the demonstration of power as gold was used to symbolize wealth.
