This collection is a collaboration of two different professional fields jewellery and glass, by jewellery designer Ronald Chan of Devil Claw and the glass eye is handmade by glass artist Kenji eye from Glazden, therefore the production process involving from 3D scanning, 3D printing technology and tradition goldsmithing techniques from jewellery side, combining with glass making techniques such as layer by layer of colored glass canes and twisting to create the illusional depth effect.
About the Glass Eye:
The glass eye is made of high borosilicate glass which has high durability and permeability. The realistic retina effect outside of the pupil is mixed and fused with gold and silver to achieve that discoloration. In addition, it is twisted layered multiple times to create the emissive linear texture to be more realistic and colorful result instead of using typical single color.

Concept:
“It’s all of your fault”, the words engraved on a gravestone in cemetery Stouffville Canada. It imprinted in mind like a curse once it is been seen. Questioning the reason of behind the words and its motivation. This design is a dark humor jewellery that has the quality of comedy and philosophy theme about life and death, triggering the curiosity to dive into the dark subject matter. Giving option to the user to choose either ignore the dark in a blink or staring at it bravely. This ideology is inspired by the concept of memento jewellery, reminding the living to be appreciated their life through death and dark subject matter.
